In 2023, the U.S. Department of Education launched the first challenge in its CTE Momentum series: the Your Place in Space Challenge. Students across the country designed products and services that could contribute to space missions and exploration. Working with their teachers, students built structures, programmed robotics, grew plants, designed programs, and more. As part of their submissions, teams produced videos showcasing their hands-on work, creative designs, and even their editing skills. The CTE Momentum team is thrilled to share this video that celebrates the Your Place in Space Challenge and showcases some of the amazing work students and teachers produced while participating.

Coming soon: The Power Your Future Challenge

The next challenge in the CTE Momentum series is the Power Your Future Challenge, which will focus on careers in clean energy. Teachers and students who want to participate in the Power Your Future Challenge can mark their 2024-2025 calendars and stay tuned for more information — coming soon.
